Holy Grails: Hydrating Serums

We're almost done all the serum categories, there are just a couple more blog posts left on them, and then we can move onto moisturizers, sunscreens and makeup removal! As always, some products will be on multiple posts because they can be used for multiple concerns. I've also listened to your feedback and added Canadian links, American links, and International links to this post, but also previous posts too. Some products may not be available for international shipping, however if they do become available or you know an authorized retailer, feel free to comment below and I'll add it. With all that being said, let's jump into the serums post!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum

Why I love it: FAB makes some of my favourite products and this is no exception. It's packed with humectants, skin soothing ingredients, brightening ingredients, and so much more. It's a concoction of everything you need in one serum

CosRx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

Suitable Skin Type(s): All Skin Types

Why I love it: I know it's an "essence" but because of the thickness, I use it in my serum section of my routine. Snail mucin is a humectant, also anti-inflammatory and if you know anything about K-Beauty, you've definitely heard about this.

Key Ingredient(s): Snail Sectetion Filtrate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Panthenol.

Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Suitable Skin Type(s): All Skin Types

Why I love it: this is a real simple hyaluronic acid serum, that is real inexpensive as well. GM, TO, and TIL all have the same pricing and I'd go for whichever is easier for you. If you're a frequent Beautylish shopper, I'd get this one.

Key Ingredient(s): Sodium Hyaluronate.

Benton Fermentation Essence

Suitable Skin Type(s): All Skin Types

Why I love it: if you're into galactomyces, this will be the serum you'll need to try. It's packed with a ton of hydrating, soothing, and brightening ingredients, it's lightweight and non-sticky. I know a lot of people don't like the tacky feeling with hyaluronic acid serums and this one doesn't have that.

Key Ingredient(s): Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Ceramide NP, Aloe, Panthenol, Allantoin, Sodium Hyaluronate.

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Suitable Skin Type(s): All Skin Types

Why I love it: this is a real simple and inexpensive hyaluronic acid serum. It's very watery and non-sticky. As mentioned above, if you're a GM fan and shop at Beautylish, go with that. If you're a fan of TIL, go with this one. The only thing I don't like about this is there's no pump, but I didn't find it hard to get a few drops out at once.

Key Ingredient(s): Colloidal Oatmeal, Hyaluronic Acid, Allantoin, Panthenol, Sodium PCA, Aloe, Licorice Root Extract

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

Suitable Skin Type(s): All Skin Types

Why I love it: again, real simple formula. We all know about TO and I don't think I have to say much about them. If you're team TO, go with this one, you'll love it. If you want a little more oomf, go for the Niod MMCH2 serum (listed below).

Key Ingredient(s): Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Panthenol

Jordan Samuel Skin Hydrate Facial Serum

Suitable Skin Type(s): All Skin Types

Why I love it: JSS is truly an amazing brand, owned by an amazing person, with amazing products. People still haven't discovered his line yet and with that being said, I feel bad for them... They're missing out on great products (especially the cleanser I mentioned in the cleanser post)

Key Ingredient(s): Aloe, Sodium Hyaluronate, Cucumber Extract, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Acetyl Hexapeptide-51 Amide, Willow Bark Extract

CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Suitable Skin Type(s): All Skin Types

Why I love it: I'm probably CeraVe's biggest fan; there really hasn't been a product I've tried that I didn't love (so far). This is a thicker, non-sticky, hyaluronic acid serum. Great for those who have a compromised barrier!

Key Ingredient(s): Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP,
